đź“… Class Schedule Calendar & Reminders Guide

This page will help you stay fully updated about your upcoming classes by subscribing to the live class calendar.

Follow these steps to never miss a class! 👇

âś… Step 1: Subscribe to the Class Calendar

Each course (like Arabic 1 or Math 101) has its own Google Calendar link with scheduled class times.

To subscribe:

  1. Click the “Subscribe to Calendar” button on your course page or dashboard.

  2. A new page will open in Google Calendar.

  3. Click “Add” or “Yes” to add it to your calendar.

📝 Now you’ll be able to see all upcoming classes directly inside your Google Calendar.

🔔 Step 2: Enable Email Reminders (So You Don’t Miss a Class)

By default, Google only adds the class events to your calendar — it does not send you email reminders automatically.

To turn on reminders:

  1. Go to Google Calendar.

  2. On the left side, under “Other Calendars”, find the calendar you just subscribed to (e.g., Arabic Class – Monday 2PM).

  3. Click the three dots (︙) next to it and choose “Settings”.

  4. Scroll to the section called “Other notifications” or “Event notifications”.

  5. Click “Add Notification”.

  6. Choose “Email” and set it to 1 hour before.

âś… Done! You will now receive an email 1 hour before every class.
(You can also set a 1-day reminder if you want.)

đź‘Ş Optional: Add Multiple Parents/Guardians

If more than one parent/guardian wants notifications:

  • Just repeat Step 1 and Step 2 for each Google account.

  • Each person should subscribe and set reminders on their own calendar.

📬 What Will Happen Before Class?

If you set email reminders properly:

  • ⏰ You’ll get an email like “Your class starts in 1 hour.”

  • đź“Ž The email may contain the Zoom or Google Meet link (if added by the teacher).

  • 📲 You can also join directly from the calendar event.

🧑‍🏫 What the School/Teacher Will Do

  • Teachers will update the calendar regularly.

  • If needed, they may also add you directly as a guest to receive automatic emails (optional).

  • If the schedule changes, you’ll see it updated in real time on your calendar.
