We’re excited that you’re considering joining our community of passionate educators at Suhbah School. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to become a verified teacher and start sharing your knowledge with eager young Muslim learners around the world.
Apply to Teach
Fill out the application form to tell us about yourself, your teaching background, and the subjects you’d love to teach. This helps us understand how you align with our values and educational goals. 📝 Once you submit your application, our team will review it carefully.
Account Creation
If your application is approved, we will create a teacher account for you on our website. You’ll receive an email to set your password and activate your tutor account. 🔑 Once your password is set, you can log into your dashboard and begin setting up your classes!
Create Your First Class
You can begin listing your live class sessions (via Zoom or Google Meet). When creating your course, be sure to include a title, description, featured image or video, and schedule. ✨ This is your chance to shine and share your passion for teaching!
ID Verification with Persona
To ensure a safe and trustworthy platform, all teachers are required to verify their identity using a secure service called Persona. 🔒 This involves uploading a photo of your ID and taking a quick selfie. It’s fast, easy, and keeps our platform safe.
Background Check with Checkr
After your identity is verified, we will conduct a background check through our partner, Checkr. ⚖️ We deeply respect privacy and lawfulness, and this step ensures every educator in our community meets our safety standards.
Submit Your Class for Review
Once your profile and course are ready, submit your class listing for review. Our team will provide feedback within a few days.
